They grow many different types of mushrooms including unusual varieties such as Lion&#8217;s Mane at the shop, which has a viewing window inside, allowing visitors to see the mushrooms growing and being harvested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2020, Shoots &amp; Spores have been offering a home delivery service to customers and decided to expand into retail premises in October to meet the growing demand for their amazing mushrooms. We popped in on a recommendation from a Wellingborough Eco Group member and met the shop\u2019s owner, Dom, who showed us what they do, so we videoed him for you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Shoots and Spores\" width=\"660\" height=\"371\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/F3Wp2SQlKEY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dom also said: \u201cThere has been a huge interest in these amazing ingredients and many studies are ongoing into the possible health benefits. Mushrooms are very delicate and have a short shelf life, so we know our customers appreciate the quality they receive when buying from Shoots &amp; Spores.
