Their bric-a-brac section is a treasure trove waiting to be explored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All proceeds from the shop go to keeping the Daylight Centre open for the homeless and vulnerable, providing a place for a shower, a meal, and advice. They strive to help people in Wellingborough and the surrounding districts of North Northamptonshire in meeting personal challenges that range from complex mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse, learning difficulties, to homelessness or just feeling fragile, isolated and alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wellingborough&nbsp;Foodbank<\/strong>&nbsp;is one of the Daylight Centre\u2019s services, and is designed to help individuals and families in Wellingborough and District who are in crisis. The aim of the&nbsp;Foodbank&nbsp;is to provide people in proven need with basic food and other essential items for a short time until the crisis is resolved or until the appropriate agencies are in a position to assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wellingboroughecogroup.org.uk\/eco\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Daylight-Centre-Foodbank.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-974\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The food which they distribute is donated by many individuals and local organisations; churches, temples and mosques, schools, the public at supermarkets, local businesses and other local groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Daylight Shop is open Tuesday Wednesday Friday and Saturday from 8.30 until 4pm. All donations are gratefully received.
