Today’s Tuesday Tidy Up was for Dylan, RIP.

Thank you to Wellie Wombles Sue and Jonathan, Liz from Glamis Hall and Rev Ben from St Mark’s Church, Wellingborough for clearing the undergrowth around the underpass from Queensway Park into Park Farm this afternoon.

We did this to make this underpass safer following the fatal stabbing last Thursday, where Dylan passed away just a few metres up the path.

15 bags were filled with brambles, grass and rubbish, for a much clearer view. Thank you Wellingborough Norse for agreeing to collect these bags. Thank you also to everyone who stopped to talk with us, to a reporter and to two police officers.

Also, at Tuesday Tidy Ups, thank you Ben, who manned the community room at Glamis Hall, where we’ve filled the Womble Bin again with drinks cans for Helipads for Hospitals, and thank you litter heroes Julie and Hayley who litter picked 3 bags from Queensway Park! 🤩
