This Month’s Two Hour Tidy Up takes place on this Saturday (25th June) in Bassett’s Close at the Armed Forces Family Fun Day. We will be setting up our Recycling Station and stall from 9:30 in the park, for litter picking between 10 and 12. We will be litter picking the park and the surrounding streets.

This location has been chosen by Wellie Wombles and because we have a games stall at the fun day. As a group we have tidied up this area before, but unfortunately due to some messy people there’s a lot to do.
The Armed Forces Family Fun Day is a celebration of Royal British Legion, Wellingborough and the District 100 years of service. It’s a free event with live music, Sloane Helicopters flying by, and much more. Come down to Bassett’s Close, have a two hour tidy up and join in the celebrations.
To help us and keep us safe at this and future litter picks, Wellingborough Eco Group have purchased some litter pickers, hi-vis vests and safety equipment including road signs, so everything is provided but please bring your own gloves if you can. Hand sanitiser will be available, bring your friends and family, ALL WELCOME!
