We hope that you are having a lovely Christmas, but if like most of us, you will have over indulged, so why not join us for a very special Christmas Clear Up with Wellie Wombles this Saturday at Swanspool Pavilion and Gardens?
Swanspool Gardens has been chosen because we are opening up The Pavilion afterwards to warm you up with free tea, coffee and mince pies, and other festive treats. We will be litter picking The Gardens, The Walks and the surrounding area.
The Gardens themselves aren’t heavily littered, but there is lots of other tidying up to do, including a lots of leaves to clear from pathways under the trees. The Walks on the other hand are in need of litter picking, as are some of the surrounding streets.
Join us for our monthly Two Hour Tidy Up!
To help us and keep us safe at this and future litter picks, Wellingborough Eco Group have purchased some litter pickers, hi-vis vests and safety equipment including road signs, so everything is provided but please bring your own gloves and do dress up in festive outfits if you can.
Do join in, bring your friends and family, meet at our Recycling Station at Swanspool Pavilion which will open from 9:30 for litter picking between 10:00am and midday, and then refreshments until 1:00, see you on Saturday 27th December, ALL WELCOME!
